RMNDme is a maintenance scheduling and reminder platform for individuals and teams. We built it to be useful, not intrusive. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We encourage you to read it — it's written to be understood, not just to satisfy a legal requirement.

1. Who we are

RMNDme is operated by RMNDme LLC, based in Riverside County, California, USA. We provide a maintenance scheduling and reminder platform for individuals and organizations. Questions about this policy can be directed to .

2. What information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the service.

Account information

When you create an account or are invited to join a team, we collect your email address, display name, and timezone.

Asset and maintenance data

We store information you enter about your equipment, vehicles, and locations — including nicknames, serial numbers, license plates, purchase and installation dates, and maintenance history.

Usage and activity data

We log actions taken within the app — such as when maintenance is recorded or plans are created — to power notifications and internal audit trails.

Notification preferences

We store your preferences for how and when you'd like to be notified (in-app, email, or push).

Billing and payment information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. RMNDme does not store your credit card number, bank account details, or other sensitive payment credentials. We receive and store only limited billing metadata from Stripe: your subscription plan, billing status, and a Stripe customer ID. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy.

3. Free and paid plans

RMNDme is available on a free tier as well as paid subscription plans. Both tiers are governed by this policy.

Free tier

Users on the free tier have access to core features of RMNDme at no cost. We collect the same account and usage data described above. No payment information is collected for free accounts.

Paid subscriptions

Paid plans unlock additional features and higher usage limits. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Payment is processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Billing disputes and refunds

Questions about charges, refunds, or your subscription should be directed to . We will respond within a reasonable time.

4. How we use your information

We use your information only to operate and improve RMNDme. Specifically:

• To send maintenance reminders and due-date notifications
• To display your team's assets and maintenance history
• To authenticate your account and manage team access
• To deliver transactional emails (invitations, notifications, receipts)
• To manage billing and subscription status through Stripe
• To understand how the product is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own use. We work with a small number of trusted service providers who help us operate the platform:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting and analytics
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management

Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver their service to us and is bound by their own privacy and security commitments. We do not authorize them to use your data for any other purpose.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RMNDme, our users, or others.

6. Data within your organization

If you use RMNDme as part of a team or company account, please be aware that your organization's administrators can view and manage assets, maintenance plans, and activity logs within your account. This is by design — RMNDme is a shared tool for teams. Administrators can also invite and remove members.

Asset and maintenance data you enter is associated with your company account, not solely with your personal profile.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you or your organization closes an account, you may request deletion of your data by contacting . We will respond within 30 days.

Some data may be retained for a limited period thereafter to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes. Billing records may be retained as required by applicable financial regulations.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Your data is stored with Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Access within our platform is controlled by role-based permissions — users can only see data belonging to their own organization. Payment credentials are handled entirely by Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data — including the right to access, correct, or delete it. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion.

10. Children's privacy

RMNDme is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes — including material changes to how we handle payment or subscription data — we will notify active users by email. Continued use of RMNDme after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
